A lil’ bit about me… ツ
Hello! My name is Luke Wu. I’m a rising senior at Sage Hill School in Southern California. When I was 13 years old, I began making this website. This website serves as a demonstration to the countless hours of effort, dedication, and hard work that I put into my art over my childhood and teenage years. In the beginning years of my art, I learned the fundamentals of painting, sketching, and drawing. Once I cemented my foundations, I began expanding into more advanced pieces and tested my own ideas into my work. However, these pieces were still very simple both technically and metaphorically.
I then took my artwork to new heights as I began developing my own style and experimented with different themes of art. These themes included realism, object design, and architecture. However, I kept referring back to my favorite form of art: visual activism.
I now focus my art on Asian American activism and self expression. I hope to use my work to illustrate not only the experiences of Asians in America but also advocate for other minorities as well. Please enjoy this collage of my years of new and past work!
